People are always asking me what my favourite perennial is, but the problem is I like too many. As the season goes on, my favourites often change. Seeing as spring is quickly approaching, I'll list some of my favourite spring perennials.

(Formerly Anemone pulsatilla) This spring-flowering species produces crocus-like flowers covered in soft down, in shades of lilac to violet-purple.
